TIARANITA established on 4 July 1992 is an association of woman employees and wives of Telekom Malaysia employees. As Malaysians we are proud to instill the 'muhibbah" spirit fostering rich culture and heritage. TIARANITA's other objective is to cultivate a "caring culture' by providing assistance to the less fortunate particularly women and the elderly.

In an ever-changing environment, be it at home or work, we face new challenges everyday. Through our self-motivation talk, development programs, sports and social activities, we encourage development of knowledge and skill amongst members. These activities will also enable us to strengthen our bond.

TIARANITA is a woman's organization for employees and wives of Telekom Malaysia with the mission to equip the members with the knowledges and experiences for life enrichment. It was formed on the 4th July 1992 with an initial number of 50 members. Formally the society was known as MUTIARA.

The organization is headed by the wife of the Chief Executive Officer, Telekom Malaysia. The membership is open for all women and wives of Telekom Malaysia staff. As of December 2007 there were 1,700 members in TIARANITA.

Our overall objective is to create equal opportunities for members, in this ever changing environment to realizes their fullest potential.

  • To cultivate the spirit of 'muhibbah' (harmony) and closeness among the members and wives of different races within Telekom Malaysia.

  • To encourage development of knowledge, and skills amongst members through self motivation programs, talks, seminars and courses.

  • To initiate and involve members in activities for the benefit of members and their families.

  • Encourage better rapport with other registered women's organization to instill better understanding and increase knowledge through national development programs related to women.
